5 Ways to Celebrate National Vodka Day
As if you needed an excuse to drink vodka today, October 4th marks National Vodka Day, and frankly, it’s rude not to celebrate it! When we say celebrate, we’re not talking about just picking up a handle, plopping down on the couch, and binging your latest show addiction as you cheers to this lovely day because that’s low-key lame. It’s National Vodka Day, and it’s time to embrace it, so we’ll give you five exciting ways to honor this wonderful holiday!
1. Beach Bound
Grab your boards, your volleyballs, snag some snacks, and pack up a cooler with your crew and celebrate the day at the beach. The one rule is replacing the beers in the cooler with some vodka and fruit juice. The options are endless from orange juice to cranberry juice to pineapple juice. Yes, usually it’s rum and pineapple but show National Vodka Day a little respect, here.
2. Backyard BBQ
We agree: sometimes going to the beach can be a lot of work. We’re all about chill vibes, so gather your pals and bring em to your house or the local park next door for a lil Friday BBQ! End the week kickin’ with your friends, a vodka lemonade in hand, and patties on the grill to observe National Vodka Day.
3. Fall Festivities
Now in the heart of autumn, it’s time to fully embrace our basic fall favorites! Pour up an Apple Cider Moscow Mule while carving a pumpkin with your closest witches for a seasoned twist to National Vodka Day. Plus, if you need Halloween plans, we have you covered!
For the Apple Cider Moscow Mule, pick up some vodka, apple cider, ginger beer, lime juice, and some ice!
4. LIT like the fireworks
Not all of us have the perk of having the entire day to soak up the sun by the
beach or gather all of our friends for a BBQ cause unfortunately work has us
occupied till the clock strikes 5pm. Don’t worry though, the nightlife is almost better for taking on National Vodka Day. Enjoy the Waikiki Firework show that takes place every Friday evening and let it be your inspiration for the night ahead
5. Sippin’ at SKY
Where should you go after the firework show to celebrate? SKY Waikiki! You can even watch the show from our rooftop deck! Plus, we have three unique vodka drinks ready for you to try which is truly the best and proper way to celebrate National Vodka Day.
